It was a change to go to Tuacahn in the COLD instead of the blistering heat, but well worth it!! Good show with GREAT people!

A few weeks later we went to Grease with my mom and Ashlee!

I was SOOO excited Grease is one of my all time favorites . . . I was disappointed. It was good but it veered so far from the movie and just wasn't what I expected. Good thing we were with such great company!! It was still fun to see and we did have a great weekend but if you are coming down to go to Tuacahn this summer I have heard better feedback about Little Mermaid. Also a plus was going opening weekend. No fans or frozen water needed it was wonderful weather!

Five Years

We have never been big on celebrating our ANNIVERSARY

but this year we decided we needed a

MINI VACA!!

So we celebrated

VEGAS style!

We had a great weekend and went to see the

Blue Man Group.

Then the next night we met up with

Mike's family and saw

for his Mom's bday.

Both shows were AMAZING!

GRADUATION?!

Today I received a graduation announcement from one of my super cute cousins. As excited as I am for her it totally made me think WOW it has been 10 years. I still feel like I just moved down to SUNNY St. George, but really I am almost to 30. . . how can she be graduating? Shouldn't she still be in like jr high or something? I only wish this because by her graduating it makes me feel so much older! It has been a LONG time since I graduated and I usually like to push that block of months 10 years ago out of my brain, but when it does come through there are some fun memories with good family and friends. (And a CRAZY vegas trip that is still one of my favorite getaways.) Congrats Kori and Braydee -hopefully I'm not leaving anyone else out, if I am you should've sent me an announcement:)- I am so proud of what the two of you have accomplished. Have a fun summer because high school is over and now the real world is HERE! Enjoy it, your journey's are just beginning.

My favorite font the last few weeks has been one called Miss Missy . . . which also happens to be one of my best friends! She came down to visit around Halloween and as you can tell we went all out on decorations this year!(when lisa gets an idea it turns into a PROJECT!) We put black lights in all the basement fixtures and covered the walls with black plastic bags and then all the decorations we put up glowed in the black light. It was pretty fun I have to admit I was really sad to take it down it turned out so fun, but Mike wanted his man room back to watch football so it had to go.

Cheesy I know but it really did look cool with all the black lights glowing. Also everyone's costumes looked tripped out in the lights. . . i will see if i can find any pics of that.

ANYWAY. . . thanks for coming down Miss I had so much fun and can't wait for you to break free and take a break with me again. . . Also thanks Lisa for turning the basement into many nights of GOOD TIMES!

It was our turn this year to get the nfl TICKET. . for those of you, like me, that have no clue what that is. . it is a package we bought on our direct tv that shows EVERY nfl game EVERY week. What does that mean? Our house is packed on football days. So to make it fun for the girls we started betting on the games with the boys. The week winner gets to pick anything they want for the rest to do, for example Mike picked mini golf, Lisa picked our Halloween costumes (Ninja Turtles by the way!). I don't know what I am going to pick but it's only week 3 and I won the BOYS!! It was close but my Cowboys brought it home for me last night! I still am not thrilled about 12 straight hours of football every weekend but if I can keep winning maybe I can get my whole house cleaned!!

Grandma Lovell

Our dear grandma Lovell passed away last Saturday. Although it is sad for us I can only imagine how happy her and grandpa are, finally reunited. At the funeral this weekend Katie and I will be sharing memories. If anybody has any they would like to share we would love the help to make sure all of our wonderful memories of our beautiful grandma are not forgotten. Thanks for all your help! Her sweet smile will definitely be missed.

It's been FOREVER since I updated so here are a few pics to catch up . . .

DECEMBER

Our friends Dave and Jodi got married in the middle of the Las Vegas Marathon. It was pretty hilarious with all of the Elvis' that got married with them. They had a part sectioned off half way through the marathon where the people getting married stopped. They all got married at the exact same time by one officiant. Then they started running again and finished the marathon. Dave and Jodi have been running marathons together for a while so it was the perfect way for them to get hitched! It was unusual but a very fun VEGAS trip!! It was fun to watch them get married even though we barely made it after playing all night before!

Next we came back to St. George for their reception. It was so pretty and Jodi looked amazing in her dress. I never thought I would see my firefighting friend dressed up but she looked great!

My baby brother flew to Long Beach on Tuesday. He is officially on his mission. I haven't even posted his farewell MTC pics yet so i decided i better start with those!! He looks so great in his suit and I am so excited for him but that doesn't mean I won't miss him. The day he went to the MTC Mike had to work so I decided to drive up and back in one day. . . I think I am getting to old for that! It was fun to see a lot of family and friends there it's always so much fun to get together and catch up. I love this blog thing because it makes me feel like I can actually keep in touch with everyone! Even if I am not the best at posting it's always fun to see everyone else's. Maybe when I have kids it will be better. . .

BRETT MICHAELS - NOTHING BUT A GOOD TIME!!

Here's a little history. For the last 2 seasons of VH1's Rock of Love (a show where a hot musician - BRETT MICHAELS lead singer of Poison - tries to find someone to love him for him and not for his money!!) we (mike, lyndsie, cam and i among others) have been an avid watchers. We even had a season finale party last year when he chose Jess - who was a liar and already had a boyfriend - devastating i know. So this season he had to start over and try again. I didn't even know who Brett was until i became addicted to this trashy show. Yes it is worse than a soap opera but for some reason i just really can't stop watching it! It has been hard this last month while we had no tv to keep up on the season but because of my best friend Lyndsie i have kept up to date! ANYWAY Brett came to vegas last weekend and since i am now totally obsessed with him i had to go. Do i even need to say that Mike had no desire to go!! So lyndsie, meggan and i took off to see Brett live in concert!

It was so much fun if only for the fact that the three of us got to do something we probably wouldn't of normally done. I mean how often do you see Brett Michaels in person and then watch him choose his true love the next day on tv??

Moving, Working, Playing, and Mission Calls

This has been a very busy month. Moving, working, playing and mission calls who could ask for more? Mike and I have both been working overtime and barely had time to fit in a move, let alone enjoy our new home. We were lucky enough to finally get into our new home and we've been so busy that i haven't even had time to take an updated picture. Melna and Grandma Deanie have been helping get everything unpacked, organized and hung up. They have been a great help but i was really excited for my family to come down and take the moving stress off and just play!! Katie and Brandon came and stayed one night with us on their way to Vegas and Bradon took a bullet for the rest the guests coming the next day. While he was showering our tub faucet blew off and hit him in the knee. SORRY BRANDON! The next day all of my family came and stayed and we were able to just play and relax. That night after they left and the air mattresses where deflated we where able to bring Mike's poker table in and host the first IBACH poker night. At about 1:00am we got the cops called on us! But not for what you are all thinking! Shame on all of you!
We caught a horse running toward the freeway and ended up holding it in our backyard until the cops showed up to take it away. Luckily the officer was nice enough to take our picture. So we will never forget the night the poker table was broken in! Our crazy month and then this weekend to even things
out, Ben got his
mission call to Long Beach, CA and he will be spanish speaking. YEAH!! We are so excited and proud of him.

2 Weeks and Counting

Here are the most recent pictures from this weekend. They have the carpet, toilets, electrical fixtures, ballisters,some landscaping, and a little bit of the roof left. Writing it out it seems like so much left but when i went there this weekend it felt like they should be able to finish it relatively soon. Mike wasn't able to come out so he is left wondering how all our of "picks" our coming together.

I was kind of worried about the cabinet color but i am really glad we chose the color we did. Mike better get working on his poker table or he will be disappointed to not have it finished when we move in. Mike was rooting for the patriots this weekend during the superbowl and got it pretty bad from all his friends when they lost.

I was able to spend superbowl sunday with my favorite godkids. Here is a picture of Spencer Swede Epslin. Our new god son! He is so cute and i was able to go watch his birth so that was very special. He was born January 29th at 3:23 am and was 8lbs and 21" long.

Yesterday it snowed here! More than i have ever seen it snow in St. George (I guess it might tie with our wedding weekend) and it was even still here in the morning!! It reminds me how lucky i am to live where it hardly ever snows! i hate snow!!

Well we finally put in our 30 days and hopefully we will really be in at the end of those 30 days! Otherwise we will be moving all our stuff into Ibach's garage (what we haven't taken already) and then staying there until it's done. Which would be fine except moving all our stuff twice. Here is a picture that was taken about 2 weeks ago. Since this picture the windows and floors are in and they have started stuccoing the outside.
That's really all our news but if you can't tell I am getting super excited about our house!

I know it's probably really lame to post pictures of your friends kids but look at her! We freakin love this little girl!!

Mike and I do not have any kids but we love all of our friends kids. My best friend Lyndsie recently named Mike and I godparents to her little daughter Ava Shae. We love her to death and she loves Mike. Whenever I go over to see her without him she justs keeps asking for him! He is really cute with her, it will be fun to see him with his own kids one day.

This is a new thing for me so it might take me a few times to get the hang of it!! After seeing Katie's page I thought I better try it. Her page is so cute and by clicking on a few of her friends I was able to see other family members blogs. What a great way to catch up with everyone.

Mike and I have been busy trying to get everything packed for our move. Our townhome should hopefully be done within the next 30 days. We are so excited to finally be getting into our own place and not renting anymore. Mike and his friends have decided to turn our basement into a bachelor pad. Complete with a poker table that him and his friends are making. I wasn't to sure about this at first but he has some cool ideas and with his mom's touch it actually will be a well decorated bachelor pad!! Hopefully some of you will be able to visit us in our new home soon!!

Here's the newest family picture. We were able to all get together for dad's birthday and take a long awaited family picture. We haven't had one done since I was a freshman in high school.

That's pretty much all of our news between work and packing (and football playoffs) we haven't been doing a lot else. It was fun to see a lot of our family at Lindsay's wedding and hope to see everyone again real soon. Love ya lots - Ibachs
